USA Veteran Firearms Training, LLC (“USAVFT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information when you visit our website, register for training, communicate with us, use our waiver or student portals, receive student services, or opt in to supported website notifications.

Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, telephone or mobile phone number, address, training or course information, registration information, waiver information, roster information, certificate information, prior-training documentation, electronic signatures, and other information necessary to provide our training and related services.

Our systems may collect limited technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, website usage information, notification permission status, and information reasonably necessary for security and operation of the website and student systems.

How We Use Your Information

We may use information to process registrations and payments; provide training services; maintain student training and certification records; communicate about classes, waivers, student resources, training requirements, or certificates; provide access to the Student Portal and CCL Companion; respond to questions; provide course-related email, SMS, or supported browser notifications when applicable; maintain administrative, security, and legal records; and comply with applicable requirements.

Student Portal, Waiver and Electronic Records

USAVFT may provide separate secure systems for registration/payment, waivers, student records, knowledge checks, roster information, electronic signatures, certificates, and educational resources. Information submitted through these systems may be associated with your training record. Where an ID/DL barcode scanning feature states that the camera image, ID number, or raw barcode is not stored, USAVFT follows that stated handling practice.

Payments

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. USAVFT does not need to receive or store your complete payment-card number when the payment provider processes that information directly. Payment providers maintain their own privacy and security practices.

SMS / Mobile Messaging

Students may voluntarily consent to receive course-related SMS messages. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or completing training. Message frequency varies and message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Website / Browser Notifications

Visitors may be offered an optional browser or device notification feature. Permission is controlled by the visitor’s browser or device and can be denied or revoked through browser/device settings. Enabling browser notifications is not a condition of purchasing or completing training. Notification subscription information may be processed by hosting, browser, or messaging infrastructure as necessary to deliver the feature.

Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share limited information with trusted service providers when necessary to operate our website, process payments or communications, maintain student records, provide requested services, or support business operations. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, property, security, students, or others.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information. No internet-based system or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain appropriate training and business records, satisfy legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Certain training and certification records may be retained for compliance or audit purposes after training is completed.

Cookies and Website Technologies

Our website and service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, maintain security, understand usage, and improve the visitor experience. Your browser may allow you to limit or disable cookies; some features may not function properly if disabled.

Third-Party Services

USAVFT may use third-party providers for website hosting, payment processing, communications, student-record management, SMS delivery, browser notifications, and related business functions. Those providers may process limited information as necessary to perform services on our behalf and may maintain their own privacy and security practices.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children through our training registration process except where information is lawfully provided by a parent or legal guardian for an applicable service.

Your Choices

You may contact us to request information about your personal information or request that certain information be corrected or updated, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. You may use provided unsubscribe methods for applicable email, reply STOP for SMS, and use browser/device settings to disable website notifications.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in services, business practices, technology, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
